To reinforce our [[Engineering]] team we are looking for a [[Engineering Project Manager]].
Job purpose: End-to-end management of technology related projects for the category.
Main responsibilities and key tasks: Gather information from equipment suppliers for new machines or machine enhancements Compare specifications for new equipment/components to be ordered Manage installation and delivery schedules Support R&D Innovations by exploring and defining technical solutions for new products or product features, and liaising with equipment suppliers on the specifications of the equipment needed to produce the new products or product features Assess and evaluate costs for new machines, enhancements and retro-fits Drive the complete project life cycle from kickoff to the delivery. Define project objectives, project scope, roles & responsibilities. Prepare a detailed project plan and schedule key project milestones, workstreams & activities. Manage the delivery of the project according to this plan. Initiate projects with a clear scope/budget/timeline, coordinate the definition of resource requirements and manage resource availability & allocation – both internal and third party. Ensure stakeholder support and approval, revisit and adapt the project plan when needed. Drive the communication with internal and external stakeholders to proactively identify and mitigate risks which may impact successful delivery of the project. Act as single point of contact for the respective project(s). Monitor the execution (achievements/timeline/investments/actuals) and provide regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
Job requirements Education & experience: Bachelor or Master degree in mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering Minimum of 5 years’ experience in industrial engineering and /or technical project management Experience in the hygienic, packaging or food industry Ability to work with design software (CAD) Project Management tools mastery is a plus (MS Project…) Competencies: Great analytical and problem-solving skills; process oriented Excellent stakeholder management skills Good interpersonal and influencing skills, able to develop strong working relationships Good communicator Efficient and highly organized, good time management skills and able to juggle multiple tasks at once Keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data A team player
