The digital acquisition expert is responsible to develop, implement and report upon the digital marketing acquisition strategy. He/she has full budgetary control to ensure the Lyreco ecommerce platforms increase their number of active new customers, hence increasing TO.
He/she will put in place a creative, dynamic and results-driven customer test & learn marketing activity programs to enable the agreed targets for customer acquisition.


  • Develop digital marketing acquisition strategy for Lyreco's webshops (SEO, PPC, mobile, email, affiliate, display, social, etc.)
  • Forecast, budget, and plan tactical activities to increase revenue and attract new customers.
  • Optimize media costs and improve ROI
  • Manage acquisition campaigns and maintain brand consistency
  • Work with third-party agencies, internal service providers, and CRM team
  • Report on acquisition marketing spend and invest effectively.
  • Set parameters and KPIs for digital marketing activities and review performance.
  • Work with digital sales analysts to measure and improve media effectiveness.
  • Champion digital marketing effectiveness and contribute to omnichannel activities.
  • Qualifications:

  • Master or equivalent by experience
  • Fluent English (verbal and written communication)
  • Google SEO/SEA certification
  • Experience and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital acquisition marketing in a competitive digital sector with a proven track record in achieving results (within budget, scope & timing).
  • Proven track record of delivering increases in traffic and sales using online marketing methods across multiple channels
  • Experience with website optimization tools
  • Good understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer acquisition
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Practical knowledge of developments and limitations within HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Thorough experience with website analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
  • Familiar with the applicable legislation (GDPR, ability to do competitions, regulations around online sales, cookies, …)
  • Personal:
