The digital conversion & retention expert will be accountable for the development, management and continual improvement of the pro-active retention communications to building strong and loyal customer relationship, hence increasing CLV (Customer Lifetime Value). He/she will put in place a creative, dynamic and results driven customer ‘test & learn’ marketing activity program to enable the agreed targets for customer optimization and retention targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement retention and optimization plans, and group marketing campaigns for attracting customers to Lyreco's webshops.
  • Nurture customer relationships by setting up A/B and multivariate testing programs, cross-selling, up-selling, and asking for referrals and reviews.
  • Responsible for optimizing customer lifetime value (CLV) & drive insight into these behaviors
  • Identify customers who are at risk of defecting and implement actions to prevent them from churning.
  • Continually deliver on the Lyreco ecommerce webshop value propositions and brand promise.
  • Manage group budget for ecommerce retention marketing spend ensuring continuous improvement of return on investment.
  • Work closely with the digital sales analysts to measure, report on, and help stakeholders understand true media effectiveness.
  • Work with relevant teams to identify appropriate customer segmentation and ensure the correct digital strategies are in place to address different consumer profiles.
  • Champion digital marketing effectiveness and contribute to omnichannel activities.
  • Qualifications:

  • Master or equivalent by experience
  • Fluent English (verbal and written communication)
  • Experience and skills:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital acquisition marketing in a competitive digital sector with a proven track record in achieving results (within budget, scope & timing).
  • Experience with website optimization tools
  • Good understanding of performance marketing, conversion and online customer retention & conversion
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Practical knowledge of developments and limitations within HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Thorough experience with website analysis tools (e.g. Google Analytics)
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in digital marketing
  • Familiar with the applicable legislation (GDPR, ability to do competitions, regulations around online sales, cookies, …)Personal:
