Senior Cost Accountant / Financial Analyst (EMEA)

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the Process Filtration business unit (BU) director with insights on all finance related matters, covering P&L, Balance Sheet (BS) and Cash Flows
  • Conducting quarterly forecasting and yearly planning together with the BU director and the management team
  • Writing monthly and quarterly financial business reviews, providing valuable insights for the management teamAssess monthly P&L and BS reporting, and conduct corrective actions where neededPrepare monthly P&L and BS reporting (Market P&L and NOI/ROI)Review sales and margins to ensure compliance with Donaldson Accounting Standards including revenue recognitionAnalyze the open order bookWork with management to help improve efficiencies, reduce cost or other actions that may be necessary
  • Pro-actively highlighting potential areas for discussions
  • Assisting and supporting on other tasks as apparent.
  • Present financials at the monthly management meeting.

    • Qualifications

  • Master’s degree (or equivalent) in accounting, finance, business, or related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of professional level finance experience
  • Strong analytical skills and communication skills, alongside a critical mindset
  • Proficiency with Excel and financial analysis reporting tools
  • A real team player capable of interacting with all levels in the organization
  • High level of English, any other language is an asset (NL/FR/GE)
  • Strong proficiency with reporting tools
