What you will be doing

The Senior SAP Project Leader has a profound knowledge and expertise on business processes and solution design and build. They have a proven track record of mastering the delivery of small and medium sized projects. They ensure that the Information Security Policy, IT Policies, IT Guidelines and IT Procedures are embedded and adhered to during project delivery (e.g. ISO related) and assist in negotiations with suppliers to ensure an accurate service delivery. They take responsibility in the delivery of multiple parallel medium sized or major projects, within scope specifications, timing and budget.

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Autonomous delivery of Business Processes & Solutions, making the project proposal, initiating and executing project analysis including design and fit/gap with the existing Umicore Application and Infrastructure landscape.
  • End 2 end Project Delivery management, including scope, time, budget, people, resources and assisting with business change management.
  • Coordinating solution implementation including user acceptance testing and Go Live preparation, Final Go Live including hypercare and handover to support teams.

    • Accountable for successful delivery of multiple mid-sized projects, or 1 major project

    Who we are looking for

    Education:

    Master degree or equivalent by experience in IT.

    Working Experience

    Minimum 8-year experience, of which at least 3-year experience as a Project Leader or equivalent, with demonstrated and hands-on expertise in project excellence, functional and technical design and implementation. Knowledge of project management methodology. Working experience in a service driven, customer oriented environment. Proven expertise in at least 2 application environments.

    Experience with S4 HANA projects is a plus.

  • In-depth knowledge for at least one of the SAP domain, MMSD, IMWM, PPQM, FICO e.g., as well as Microsoft office.
