Security Engineer

Participate to projects, initiatives, and designs:

  • Should be able to study the space to gain understanding of the needs
  • Maintain proactive async communication with staheholders to provides updates
  • Establish strong partnerships:

  • To collaborate well with EC service managers, internally and with partners
  • Build strong relationships with different teams.
  • Build:

  • Operate network infrastructure which meet well defined-objectives
  • Establish comprehensive observability over the performance of deployed services
  • Write, review, and merge infrastructure as code changes to our git repositories.
  • Offer bespoke infrastructure support where high priority opportunites arise
  • Be Team multiplier:

  • Improve collaboration and remove friction within and around our team.
  • Write high level technical documentation
  • Promote a positive, productive and constructive engineering culture toward adopting best practives, experimentations and aiming quickly toward success.
  • Your profile

  • 5+ years experience working in a software and/or network infrastructure engineering position.
  • Possess strong technical background with emphasis on edge security infrastructure and web technologies.
  • Deep knowledge of large scale security infrastructures with a proven experience in a similar position with skills in SSL, Reverse Proxy, DNS, Firewalls and certifications Fortinet/CheckPoint/Cisco.
  • Orientation towards DevOps: Comfortable with CI/CD concept, Infra as Code, and Agility.
  • Driven by the desire to automate and scale everything: Be able to understand domain specific topics and how they impact the team’s operational success.
  • Exceptional communication skills coupled with strong service management acumen.
  • Skill in security infrastructure automation.
  • Motivation to create and improve config management or provisioning playbooks.
  • Experience using version control.
  • Ability to prepare automated tests.
  • Enjoy collaborating and sharing ideas with the team.
  • Be comfortable working remotely and potentially asynchronously by leaning on your ability to communicate written ideas effectively with strong attention to details.
  • Motivated to deliver high-quality solutions quickly.
