About the role

We are currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our Engineering team, based at our Belgium office in Buggenhout, with occasional home working after 6 months service.

In this pivotal role, after thorough training you will be ultimately responsible for managing your own engineering projects.

Main responsibilities

In this role you'll:

Lead the project engineering process from quotation to processing on site, carrying out the necessary study work so that you can offer and design the most optimal customised products for your customers.

Process all information per project, ensuring that the cost price calculation is reported correctly and on time.

Maintain regular contacts with your customers (including contractors, architects and builders and also private customers.)

Regularly consult with your colleagues, as well as with the sales department, to ensure that all projects are handled in a timely manner to the highest quality standards.

Experience & qualifications

To be successful in this role you'll need:

Preferably a Masters degree in Industrial Sciences; with a bias towards Architecture, or a Bachelors degree in a technical discipline, supported by demonstrable practical experience.

An affinity and desire to work in the construction industry.

An understanding of MS Office and Autocad (or any other engineering drawing software)

A fluency in either Dutch or French is mandatory for this role (supported by a knowledge of English is desirable)
