Job & Division Summary: 

The role is attached to the Haskel Europe business and will support both Specialty Equipment as well as Hydrogen refuelling stations. As a field based Engineer, you will have strong knowledge and experience of high pressure gas / hydraulic compression systems which will enable you to support the installation & commissioning and service requirements of Haskel & Butech products. Supporting the global installed base you will travel as required, liaising with customers, providing both remote & onsite troubleshooting services as well as being a key member of the Aftermarket team.

Responsibilities: 

  • Global travel (daily, weekly as required)
  • Electrical / Mechanical installation & commissioning of all Haskel systems inc. SAT and successful handover to customer
  • Servicing and repair of all Haskel systems / products
  • Liaise with customers on technical queries taking responsibility to resolve
  • Remote access technology to fault find and troubleshoot PLC programmes with remote office based support
  • Conduct on site surveys for service, repair & modifications to assist with quotations
  • Ensure clear and concise communication with customers
  • Carry out Training activities for customer Safe & Efficient operation of system / product Basic routine maintenance of system / product
  • Review and complete method statements and risk assessments where required
  • Participate in the 24/7 On Call rota within the Aftermarket / H2 Commissioning Team
  • Be active in department metrics: Safety Quality Delivery Inventory Productivity
  • Complete and comply with IR code of ethics.
  • Qualifications: 

    Key Competencies:

  • Electrical qualification
  • Mechanical qualification (desired but not essential)
  • Automation qualification (desired but not essential)
  • Essential

  • Electrical circuits
  • Mechanical circuits
  • Trouble shooting skills
  • English speaking
  • Driving Licence
  • Desirable

  • Knowledge of pump technology, gas, hydraulic and process systems.
  • PLC interrogation experience
  • Software knowledge (e.g. Siemens/Mitsubishi)
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems
  • Mechanical / Pipe fitting experience
