Responsibilities:
The purpose of this role is to effectively execute, in a professional and timely manner using a stage gate project and portfolio management process, work requests coming from our customers, guarantee lab contingency and lead small capital invetsment projects in the lab.
Essential Job Functions:
Execute work requests using stage gate process
Report out to the Engineer technical guidance and evaluation to internal and external customer.
Support platforms, marketing, sales and distribution when technical input or information output is needed.
Support prototypes and new product developments that meet customer needs, creating unique testing protocols, and simulate end-use performance
Work collaboratively with other internal / external groups
Create data to support value propositions and customer value communications
Proactively maintain a safe working environment.
Provide contingency of the lab by organizing external supplier calibration, in time ordering of consumables.
Lead small lab related investment projects in new equipment and others.
Ensure EETC lab compliance with ISO9001 & ISO14001
Skills, Qualifications, Experience, Special Physical Requirements:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 5 to 10 years of experience in polymer related industry
Create, analyze, interpret and report on projects
Strong problem solving skills
Teamplayer
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build professional relationships with key skateholders
Strong drive for execution of results
Strong communication skills
Good knowledge of English. Other language skills are desirable (like German, French,..)
Knowledge of Meltcoating is a +
Working knowledge of TPU: properties processing techniques (Injection molding & extrusion: blown film, flat die, hose & tube,….) testing procedures.
