IT Support Specialist

Your Role

As the IT Support Specialist, you are the face to the customer. Your main goal and priority is to provide support towards all local users & systems and create a high level of user satisfaction as your personal goal. Being part BeLux IT organization you will take a share of responsibility within project workgroups, additional roles, defined by the IT Team Lead. You will respect the boundaries of the IT policies & regulations.

Your Responsibilities

  • To setup + configure company deployed applications (e.g. Windows 10 OS, MS365, Acronis, BitLocker, Lansweeper, Zoom, Kaseya etc.).
  • To provide resolutions for issues raised via remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques + pertinent questions.
  • To be responsible for tracking + administering our IT assets (workstation, laptops, scanners, label- and laserprinter, IP telephony,...).
  • To comply with all internal standard help desk procedures (e.g. ticket logging, recording of incident resolution).
  • To update stakeholders on incident resolution progress on a timely basis
  • To improve customer service quality
  • To prepare error diagnostics + detailed problem descriptions for escalation as required
  • To perform assigned routine tasks related to IT.
  • Your Skills and Experiences

  • Min. 5 years experience in providing support and services, preferably in a large end-user base environment.
  • Good knowledge of the main M365 services. Familiar with the most important Microsoft technologies such as AD, Azure AD, Teams and Exchange.
  • Strong customer service orientation (“Customer comes first” mindset).
  • Solid problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and desire to learn and evolve his or her skills.
  • Hands on, proactive and responsible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Result-oriented, self-starting, self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Team working and collaboration attitude. Stress resistant, flexible
