IT Production Integration Analyst

Job Description

Please note, System Engineering experience is not required for this position. It's not a mission of pure development. We are looking for someone who is interested in the various aspects of integration of applications running on a Windows and/or Linux infrastructure (Security, network, middleware).

This is a permanent position and we do not offer a freelance/contractor arrangement for this role.

Division: Group Technology services (GTS)

The CICD Integration and Adoption Services Team ensures the transition of Windows, Linux and Cloud applications into the production environment according to corporate Standards and segregation of duty. This transition is ensured via CICD pipelines elaborations.

We are looking for an IT/Devops Analyst with good knowledge of Azure and Azure Devops, Linux and Azure cloud with the ability to build continuous delivery pipelines for application deployment. You need to have experience in development on Windows and/or Linux Server.

  Role and Responsibilities:

  • Looking after deployment and configuration of Windows or Linux on prem applications as well as on azure cloud for the test, pre-production and production environments (automated & manual), liaising with the developers, testers and infrastructure experts (system engineers, security engineers, DBA, etc.). 
  • Administer the Build and release pipelines in Azure DevOps.
  • Define operational Self-Services for DevOps and operational teams.
  • Validate the operational documentation (including scenario of launch in Production) for the deployment and configuration of Windows application. 
  • Create and validate the procedure and operational scripts to automate the build, deployment and configuration of Windows applications ensuring the traceability of launch activities. 
  • Review the architecture of the applications and ensure they can be released into the production environment in a simple and efficient way according to internal guidelines. 
  • Provide second level support to Production Operations – available for on call duties during certain weekends. 
  • Required Qualifications:

    Essential Technical skills: 

  • Strong Azure and Azure DevOps (for building continuous delivery CI/CD pipelines),
  • Windows Server (2000 and/or 20032012/2016),
  • .NET applications (VB.NET, ASP.NET),
  • Linux RedHat V9,
  • Ansible automation,
  • MS COM+,
  • Container and container orchestration skills (AKS, OpenShift).
  • Good to have technical skills:

  • Java,
  • Websphere,
  • IBM MQ and IBM Integration bus,
  • SQL Server 2014-2017 - Oracle Server on Linux,
  • MS Internet Information Server (IIS),
  • Notions of security & architecture (clustering, load balancing, DMZ),
  • Agile ceremonies practices.
  •   Required Soft skills:

  • Problem solving and lateral thinking mindset.
  • String interpersonal skills to work in a high availability environment (Conscious and focused on the controls required to assure the required service levels) is a plus.
  • V. good communication in English.
  • Work outside of business hours is sometimes required as launches in production are generally carried out after 5PM or on Saturday as well as watch duty at nights and weekends. 

    Hybrid work structure.
