As a fast-growing company, ALSO Belgium is looking for an E-commerce professional to help us increase our B2B eCommerce business.

Your priorities will be on digital sales and growth marketing initiatives - taking the ALSO Holding Company strategy into account. In doing so you will closely collaborate with the local sales and marketing colleagues in Mechelen, with your other category management and marketing colleagues located in our Nijmegen and Nieuwegein office and your e-commerce colleagues in the other ALSO countries.

Moreover, you’ll be responsible for increasing our webshop revenue by using marketing, connecting with vendors and customers, making your sales colleagues enthusiastic to continuously promote our webshop and all other means you can think of.

We’re looking for someone who’s:

Really into digital sales:

  • Having result responsibility for the eCommerce business in Belgium and Luxemburg (revenue, profitability, number of buying resellers)
  • Active management of the webshop assortment, expand and develop right portfolio and close gaps in cooperation with the vendor management teams
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis around assortments, pricing, campaigns, webshop functionalities to improve our webshop results
  • Analyse customer behavior and usage of webshop to derive actions for further improvements
  • Ensure competitive pricing and further optimize our competitiveness through price steering, competitive analysis and collaboration with the vendor management team
  • Setup continuous campaigns, programs and activities to increase webshop sales, acquire new resellers, develop loyalty and increase share of wallet
  • And above all, you are team player who’s able to work independently. When the stakes are high, we need someone who’ll take the bet and beat the odds.
  • Do you fit the profile?

  • Strong communications skills (Dutch, English and French).
  • You have a great eye for detail.
  • You are hands-on, commercial- & target-driven
  • You have an analytical mindset to continuously evaluate and adjust your actions.
  • You embrace creativity, technology and change innovation.
  • You’re a strategic thinker and data driven girl/guy/x.
  • You think in terms of solutions, never in terms of problems.
  • Experience in e-commerce is a plus.
