Global Meeting Services Analyst (Hebrew Speaker)

The Global Meeting Services team provides data support and services covering markets worldwide. The team continuously monitors and obtains relevant information on all upcoming corporate action events; specifically, shareholders meetings where topics such as acquisitions, mergers and demergers, election of directors and auditors might be discussed. The relevant meeting results are also collected. The information collected is accurately input in the database and this will be generated for clients to see. Collected information is also used by other teams for further data collection and research for the ultimate issuance of ISS Vote Recommendations. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identifying, understanding, and implementing daily monitoring of market regulatory sources for meeting information
  • Procuring relevant meeting documentation (e.g. Annual Report, Notice of the Meeting, Information Circular, Proxy Form and other Corporate Governance documents) by monitoring stock exchange websites and contacting companies or issuers by email or phone for engagements to make sure that the most appropriate information is at hand
  • Translate and timely creation of meeting information in the ISS’ proprietary database by associating relevant securities and meeting documents
  • Analyze agenda items and harmonize them into the ISS standard code list
  • Collection and accurate entry of vote results for every meeting covered when disclosed as per defined market regulations
  • Mapping of provider meeting notifications to ISS meetings
  • Review and respond to internal enquiries related to meeting coverage for the market in a timely manner
  • Responsible for distribution, monitoring and update of various workloads
  • Responsible for keeping up-to-date assigned market profiles, process manuals at regular intervals
  • Assist in the development of KPI and Performance metrics
  • Participate in various working committees and/or projects as assigned

    • QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, Finance, Economics or any equivalent/related course
  • Mandatory verbal and written fluency in Hebrew and English
  • Fast learner, able to master new concepts, and processes with ease
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented environment collaborating with colleagues in different countries
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends and/or under tight deadlines
  • Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

    • DESIRABLE SKILLS

  • Familiarity with regulatory documents and understanding of corporate governance issues, corporate transactions, and capital markets
  • Knowledge of SQL to assist with creation of queries
  • Verbal and written fluency in additional languages in addition to Hebrew and English. Please specify additional languages when applying
