Who is Kadonation?

Kadonation is a scale-up that started in 2017 in the fintech space with a platform to safely collect money for a group gift. Meanwhile, Kadonation entered the market of business gifts and personnel gifts a few years ago, and is now one of the leading companies in the gift voucher market in Belgium. We continue to focus on innovation to make our product stronger and help companies show appreciation to their employees.

With Kadonation Select we released a SAAS platform that is a multi-user ordering platform for our b2b customers. It removes the administrative hassle of ordering gifts by several users in the company and still allows HR and Procurement to keep an overview. A real hit!

Your main tasks?

You strengthen our development team as front-end developer and you help build the future of Kadonation as product and services. You will be working on small and big projects with a high level of variety and challenge.

Your profile?

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience
  • You have an expert knowledge of Vue.js + vuex , vue router .. and tailwind.css
  • You have the ability and desire to convert UI sketches (from Zeplin) to efficient front-end code, and the ability to create your own modern UI-components with vue (calendars, pop-ups)
  • You love minimal code and minimal frameworks to keep the file size as small as possible
  • You have experience in consuming REST APIs with e.g. axios to power your front-end code
  • You have experience with CI/CD and GIT
  • Communication within the team is essential, Jira and Confluence are your friends.
  • The international and multicultural context of projects requires a technical and professional use of English!
  • Being a native Dutch speaker is a big plus

  • Writing reusable code means a lot to you and other people can easily find their way in code written by you
  • You like teamwork and are a good communicator to make sure the task division is good and clear to everyone
  • You can work independently, but do not hesitate if you need any help or advise
  • You are a problem solver
  • You are very eager to learn and curious.

  • You will join a growing team that works closely together, in an agile way. The team includes front-end developers, back-end developers, product owners and a UI/UX designer

  • Permanent contract preferred, but cooperation on a freelance basis is possible. We offer you a contract of indefinite duration. We work a 38-hour week with 26 days off. You are important to our team, so it would be nice if you could join us full time. If desired, we can also discuss a part-time contract of 80%.
  • A good integration of work and private life is important, therefore we work with a flexible hourly schedule and work from home.
