As the Electrical/Instrumentation design Engineer, you will be responsible of the design of the Electrical network, design of Instrumentation in our new and existing Lime production facilities.
Your responsibility as the Electrical/Instrumentation Design Engineer is to lead the complete Electrical/Instrumentation design of our new lime production facilities. This process includes the following phases:
You develop single line diagram for the plant
You develop the automation network diagram
You perform preliminary electrical calculations like short circuit, voltage drop, cable cross section, protection relay settings
You prepare Electrical load list, Instrument index and I/O list
You prepare technical specifications for electrical equipment like MCC, Transformers, VFD, UPS…
You prepare technical datasheet for instruments
You define, with Design engineering team, battery limit between piping and instrumentation
You define, with Design engineering team cable trays location, and Electrical room layout
You follow and manage the development of the basic engineering with design team (internally or with external supplier) – PID.
You follow up of Engineering contractors work, review their engineering documents according to project request, Carmeuse standards and good engineering practices
You perform the FAT for the electrical and Automation panels, and VFD in contractor workshop
You review Contractor’s electrical calculation note (short circuit, cables, voltage drop…), electrical and Automation drawings.
You are the contact point with our erection companies on site for technical questions
You support Engineering team during erection phase
You manage the improvements or modifications
You are in charge of the inspection on site.
With our process team, you participate to the cold commissioning and the start-up of our new equipment.
