OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE :
ECA (Engineering Compliancy Assurance) Engineer participate in the conformity analysis of a product and / or a sub assembly used in railway signaling and traction projects with respect to the legal requirements of the railway sector as well as the customer (Standards, Directives, etc.). The activity will be in direct connection with the project team, the various transversal departments (Quality / EHS / Sourcing / Offers / Engineering / Approval) and the Project Leader. He/she keeps close coordination with the rest of the project team and in particular within the engineering team (detailed design, tests, safety, certification and approval…).
RESPONSIBILITIES :
The Engineering Compliancy Assurance team brings together the following themes :
- Environmental Constraints Compliancy (Hazardous Substances, Fire-Smoke, ISO 14001, Recyclability).
- Detailed design Application (Verification of technical specifications, monitoring of exchanges with suppliers, etc.)
- Monitoring the activities related to legal compliance.
Description of activities and responsibilities :
- Carry out the necessary analyses related to the requirements of the projects.
- Contact the suppliers to obtain specific documents (certificates, test reports, analysis arguments ...)
- Consult pro-actively the normative and legal needs and maintain update the data base.
- Analyse the constituent materials of our systems
- Manage the certificates of the components relating to the norms.
Qualifications & Skills :
EDUCATION :
Master in Environmental, or experience in an equivalent function in an industrial environment
