Data Analyst

Your tasks as a data analyst:

  • You understand the business context and processes underlying the business requests and can reformulate it into a clear insights question.
  • You collect, cleanse and validate the data you need from different sources. 
  • You define, build and automate reporting dashboards relevant for the business topic you are working on 
  • You proactively reach out to your stakeholders to advise on operational enhancements or necessary changes to the dashboards in your scope
  • You perform deep-dive analyses on specific insights requests and suggest where business can improve.
  • You take initiatives to enhance the adoption of data solutions and the data fluency of your business stakeholders
  • You support your colleagues and help them where possible.
  • You take an active role in the community of data analysts within Telenet, through sharing sessions, inspiration and coaching.

    • Our ideal candidate has …

  • a minimum of 2-3 years of experience as data or business analyst or in a comparable role.
  • a Master’s degree in a business or technology domain (Business engineering, Applied Economics, Computer science, Digital…) or a comparable experience
  • Strong analytical and data skills, with knowledge of Excel, SQL and/or a reporting platform. Experience with QlikSense is an advantage.
  • Good presentation and storytelling skills
  • A problem-solving and result-driven mindset
  • A first solid experience with stakeholder management
  • Has excellent communication skills in English, Dutch or French is a plus
  • Knowledge and experience in telecom, media or consulting or comparable sectors is a plus
