Location: Antwerp, Belgium
Contract duration: initial 12 month contract, with option to extend.
Contract type: hourly rate basis (all-inclusive)

We have an opportunity for a BATTERY RECYCLING ENGINEER to be based in Antwerp, Belgium; the successful candidate(s) will be engaged on an initial 12 month contract, with the option for further contract renewals.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Design and run experiments, analyze data, and improve the Recycling processes.

Support development projects related to basic engineering and process design for new recycling facilities.

Implementing changes in operational procedures for Continuous Improvement of the process on both pilot and production scale.

Required experience / Qualification:

Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering and equipment design, handling, operations and maintenance

Strong communication skills

Good at collaboration with vendors, internal colleagues and the client

Be familiar with optimization of process steps with respect to product quality and output by evaluating and testing appropriate process changes through the planning and execution of research and experiments

You will also help support the design and installation of new recycling facilities from Concept through Operational Handover.
