La Ville de Bruxelles recrute de nombreux ingénieurs. Avec environ 3700 membres du personnel et un réseau d’enseignement étendu, la Ville de Bruxelles est l'un des plus gros employeurs de la Région bruxelloise.
La Cellule Techniques Spéciales du Département de l’Urbanisme est chargée de la conception et de l'étude de projets d'installations électriques, sanitaires et de chauffage dans les bâtiments communaux de la Ville ainsi que du suivi des dossiers et des chantiers y afférents. Cette cellule est également en charge du suivi des dossiers et des chantiers relatifs aux techniques spéciales incluses dans des dossiers généraux d'urbanisme et de l'entretien et des dépannages aux installations susmentionnées. Enfin, les Techniques spéciales sont responsables de l'entretien et du suivi technique des fontaines de la Ville.
