Job Description

As a Senior Software Developer, you will join Devoteam's Creative Tech team

Design and develop custom solutions to meet client needs and requirements.

Optimize IT infrastructure for performance and scalability.

Develop and maintain APIs and web services.

Build and maintain databases, data models, APIs, and web services with optimized performance and scalability.

Ensure application security and data protection, and help identify and resolve technical issues.

Participate in code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to meet project goals and timelines.

Provide technical guidance to junior developers and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

Profile

Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good understanding of software development lifecycle management.- Good understanding of security concepts.

Good understanding of software testing principles.

Strong communication skills and ability to clearly explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Familiar with software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

Willingness to keep up to date on innovative development frameworks and cloud technologies by following trainings, courses, and certifications.

Fluency in Dutch or French and English.

Technical Requirements

Proficient in at least one programming language such as Java, Python, or C#.

Experience with object-oriented design and development.

Experience with version control systems such as Git, SVN, or Mercurial.

Familiarity with software development tools such as IDEs, debuggers, and profilers.

Experience with databases and SQL or NoSQL.

Experience with unit testing and test-driven development.

Knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web frameworks such as React, Angular, or with Agile development methodologies such as Scrum.
