Siemens Smart Infrastructure  is looking for a driven and enthusiastic  Business & Partner Developer Fire Safety & Security for its  Building Products  team. You will play a critical role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, providing technical expertise , and delivering customized solutions to meet the needs of our clients. You will collaborate closely with end-customers, engineering offices, installers and integrators to design and propose tailored Fire Safety and Security offerings that align with client objectives and industry best practices.

Will you become our colleague?

As Sales & Partner Developer, your main responsibilities will be twofold. On one hand, you’ll be driving business with our existent customers and you’ll investigate the market for new partnerships and customers . On the other, you’ll develop our partners, making sure the customers get in touch with the proper experts and the accurate people are available for implementing your proposed solutions. 

Siemens will provide you with several trainings , making sure you’ll be up and running to take up the following responsibilities: 

  • Relationship Management : Cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, including end-customer, consultants, installers and integrators, to understand their business objectives and foster long-term partnerships. Acting as a trusted advisor , offering guidance, support, and ongoing technical assistance to enhance customer loyalty and drive repeat business.
  • Market Analysis : Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential threats. Utilize data-driven insights to develop sales strategies, pricing model and identify new business opportunities and enhance solution offerings.
  • Technical Expertise : Effectively communicating product features, benefits and technical specifications to customers. Including staying updated on industry trends, regulations and best practices to ensure our solutions meet or exceed customer expectations. 
  • Solution Design : Collaborating with customers to assess their needs, analyze site requirements, and design tailored solutions that address their unique challenges. Providing comprehensive product demonstrations, presentations, and proposals to showcase the value proposition of our offerings.
  • Proposal Development : Preparing proposals, including system designs, cost estimates, together with the partners. Clearly articulating the value proposition and benefits of proposed solutions to installers and end-customers.
  • Technical Sales Support : Providing valuable technical expertise and support during client meetings, presentations, and negotiations. Addressing client inquiries, concerns, and technical challenges throughout the sales cycle.
  • What can you bring to the table?

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in  Engineering, Business Engineering, Economics. 
  • Previous sales experience is mandatory, preferably in the Fire Safety & Security world. 
  • Strong understanding of fire protection systems, access control, video surveillance, and other security technologies.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets , building customer relationships, and driving business growth.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously , and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment .
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software; experience with AutoCAD or other design software is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally and build relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and support business development activities.
  • You’re fluent in Dutch and French with at least a professional level of English . Fluency in the different languages will be mandatory over time, so willingness to improve a language (if needed) is mandatory.
