Role Overview
- ------------

We are looking for an experienced **AEM Developer** to join a development team responsible for building, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise web platforms using **Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)**.

The successful candidate will have strong expertise in **AEM 6.4/6.5, Java, OSGi, JCR, Apache Sling, Maven, and AEM operations**, combined with modern frontend development experience.

You will contribute to the development of reusable AEM components, templates, integrations, CI/CD pipelines, and high-quality web applications.

Key Responsibilities
- -------------------

* Develop and maintain enterprise solutions using **Adobe Experience Manager 6.4/6.5**.
* Create custom and reusable AEM building blocks, including:

* Components

* Templates

* Dialogs

* Edit configurations
* Develop and maintain AEM applications using **OSGi, JCR, and Apache Sling**.
* Work with **Adobe DAM**, including custom metadata schemas, assets, content fragments, and experience fragments.
* Develop and maintain **Maven** projects and manage project dependencies.
* Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and version-control workflows using **Git**.
* Follow development practices such as feature branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
* Work with web communication protocols including **REST, OAuth, and SOAP**.
* Develop backend functionality using **Java 8 and J2EE**.
* Support AEM deployment, dispatcher configuration, architecture, and operational activities.
* Work within **Adobe Managed Services (AMS)** environments and follow relevant runbooks and deployment procedures.
* Collaborate with AMS teams and understand the respective responsibilities of the AMS and project teams.
* Contribute to frontend development using modern JavaScript frameworks such as **React or Vue**.
* Work with **JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript**.
* Develop and maintain responsive web applications using **CSS/SASS**.
* Apply appropriate software development lifecycles and engineering practices.
* Write and maintain **unit, integration, and performance tests**.
* Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement.
* Collaborate closely with developers, architects, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

Required Skills \& Experience
- ----------------------------

* **4 years of experience** in a similar AEM development role.
* **AEM Developer certification**.
* Advanced knowledge of **Adobe Experience Manager 6.4 and/or 6.5**.
* Advanced experience with custom AEM components, templates, dialogs, and edit configurations.
* Strong knowledge of:

* **Java 8 / J2EE**

* **OSGi**

* **JCR**

* **Apache Sling**

* **Maven**
* Strong experience with **AEM DAM** and content management capabilities.
* Experience with **CI/CD pipelines and Git**.
* Knowledge of **REST, OAuth, and SOAP**.
* Strong knowledge of AEM deployment and **Adobe Managed Services (AMS)** operations.
* Practical experience with modern JavaScript frameworks, particularly **React or Vue**.
* Up-to-date knowledge of **JavaScript ES6 and TypeScript**.
* Experience with **CSS/SASS** and web application design.
* Experience developing automated unit, integration, and performance tests.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent team-player with strong communication skills.
