Job Mission

As an IT Service Delivery Specialist you will report directly to the Head of IT Production.

You will be part of the Belgian IT Production team which is responsible for country management of IT infrastructure, support of End users and applications Service Operations.

In this role you will oversee different aspects. This includes handling projects, relationship management with service providers (KPI, costs, contract, ...), ensuring and warrant the financials for the department. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing IT projects. Your mission will also bring you to provide comprehensive support on some occasions.

The overarching goal is to optimize IT functionality, enhance user experience, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our organization.

Key Accountabilities

Project Management:

  • Initiate, plan, and execute IT projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective measures if necessary to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • 2. Governance:

  • Contribute to the handling of IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Understands and validates metrics for current processes or projects (KPIs, SLAs, SOP, etc).
  • Participate in compliance audits and ensures adherence to global guidelines, governance standards, tools, processes, and controls. Act as a Governance contact (contract, KPI’s follow-up) for some specifics vendors.
  • 3. IT support:

  • Might need to provide support to SMEs in the End Users Computing and IT Service Operations team by prioritizing and dispatching tickets and escalate complex issues as necessary.
  • Conduct user training sessions to enhance IT literacy and optimize technology utilization.
  • 4. Invoicing:

  • Collaborate with finance and procurement teams to ensure accurate and timely processing of IT-related invoices.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to optimize IT budget utilization.

    Key Profile 

  • You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a Technology discipline and/or relevant practical experience combined with at least 5 years’ experience.
  • Experience in an ITIL environment & in IT services delivery in international corporate environment, process driven and with a focus on regulatory demands.
  • You show a passion for the banking industry and a strong business acumen¸ with an insight in business operations, challenges, and strategies.
  • You have an analytical mindset, with a keen eye for detail and familiarity with a range of IT systems and tools.
  • You demonstrate a flexible and adaptive approach to handle diverse tasks ranging from project management, governance to hands-on IT tasks.
  • Experience in project management, including the ability to initiate, plan, execute, close projects successfully and handling governance tasks is a plus.
  • You have a good understanding of IT governance principles, compliance requirements, and the ability to contribute to the development and enforcement of policies and procedures.
  • Strong customer service mindset with very good communication skills to interact effectively with all stakeholders (end users & cross-functional teams in Business & IT).
  • Collaborative attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, sharing knowledge and providing support to colleagues when needed.
  • You are proficient with main tools of the MS office 365 suite.
  • You are fluent in English & French, and proficient in Dutch.
  • ITIL certification is a plus.
