### Role Overview

We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong AWS expertise to support the development, security, automation, and maintenance of a hybrid cloud environment. You will work closely with internal infrastructure and service delivery teams to build a scalable and compliant cloud platform while contributing to cloud automation, governance, and operational excellence.

### Key Responsibilities

* Support the implementation and maintenance of a secure and scalable AWS landing zone.
* Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and CloudFormation/CDK.
* Implement and maintain AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs).
* Configure AWS Identity Center and integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions with external identity providers.
* Apply cloud security best practices, including data classification, encryption, and access management.
* Ensure compliance with security and governance standards such as NIS2 and ISO 27001.
* Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, backup, and archiving solutions.
* Support network connectivity between cloud environments and on-premises data centers.
* Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
* Develop reusable Terraform modules and cloud deployment templates.
* Collaborate with architects and internal teams to promote cloud best practices and knowledge sharing.

### Required Skills \& Experience

* Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
* Expertise in:

* Terraform

* AWS CloudFormation / CDK

* Cloud Security

* GitLab

* Kubernetes

* Java

* Cloud Architecture
* Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and cloud automation.
* Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and cloud networking.
* Familiarity with security, compliance, and governance requirements in enterprise environments.

### Preferred Certifications

One or more of the following AWS certifications is highly desirable:

* AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
* AWS Certified Solutions Architect
* AWS Certified Developer
* AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
* AWS Certified Security Specialty
* AWS Authorized Instructor
* AWS Hero

### Languages

* Dutch or French: Working proficiency
* English: Working proficiency

### Work Arrangement
