Electronics Engineer

Job Description

As an Electronics Engineer, you will report to the Senior Manager, Global Product Support and will be based in our office in Leuven. You'll help keep our sorting technology running smoothly around the world. You'll prepare parts and assemblies for our service engineers to use in maintenance and repairs.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • (Pre-)Program electronics boards, industrial PCs and other devices.
  • Build assemblies for service engineers to use in the field.
  • Work with the quality team to check, fix and manage returned parts with our suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering department to improve designs and create testing systems.
  • Communicate between our service team and suppliers for repirs.
  • Design and implement tools to make troubleshooting and programming easier, working with R&D. 
  • Manage parts sent from other locations globally.
  • Help assemble prototype machines.

    • Qualifications

    About You:

  • Bachelor degree in Electro-IT Engineering or relevant experience.
  • Excellent skills in troubleshooting electronics.
  • Good knowledge in computer hardware and setup.
  • Strong understanding of IP, including IP routing, LAN/WAN switching, 4G/5G, WiFi and VPN solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Experience with industrial programming tools.
  • Fluent in English.
