Onze site
Evonik Antwerpen produceert in de Antwerpse haven verschillende producten in de speciaalchemie. Antwerpen is de grootste buitenlandse vestiging van Evonik Industries, het wereldwijde concern. Onze site bestaat uit 10 productie-eenheden, die ressorteren onder 3 segmenten, elk met een specifieke werking en eigen eindproducten!
Naast andere productie-eenheden bevindt zich op onze site van 109 hectare de wereldwijd grootste eenheid voor de productie van methionine, een essentieel aminozuur.
Antwerpen onderscheidt zich vooral door haar uitstekende infrastructuur. De haven betekent een logistiek voordeel voor de site, naast de goede verbindingen via weg en spoor.

Evonik Antwerpen telt momenteel meer dan 1.000 medewerkers. Zij maken dagelijks het verschil! Dankzij hen kunnen wij elke dag opnieuw de beste producten leveren aan onze klanten, zonder de veiligheid en het milieu uit het oog te verliezen.
Onze producten
Antwerpen vervaardigt producten voor een brede waaier aan toepassingen. Zo worden bij ons onder meer grondstoffen voor de productie van siliconen voor de elektro- en communicatie-industrie geproduceerd.
De producten van Evonik worden ook gebruikt als bindmiddel in drukinkten, verven en lakken. Daarnaast worden in Antwerpen grondstoffen voor autobanden, bleekmiddelen en voor milieuvriendelijke herbiciden geproduceerd.
