Software Test Engineer- Robotics System Development

In this role, you will be responsible for testing software on our autonomous guided vehicles.

    • Tasks and Qualifications:

    Responsibilities:
     

  • You are part of software development team and responsible for all test (automation) activities on our automated guided vehicles (AGVs), including unit testing, integration testing, end-to-end testing
  • You review User Stories for testability, create test plans and test cases, execution test plans and providing feedback on the test results to the developers of your team
  • You contribute to and leverage existing test automation tools as part of the CI/CD pipeline
  • You adhere to the scaled agile way of working in the product team and participate in (scaled) agile ceremonies
  • You adhere to the proposed guidelines and tools on Test Automation
  • You actively participate in Testing Chapter, challenge and contribute to best practices on test automation
  • You follow the evolutions in software test automation and apply then in a pragmatic way
  • You take – together with the other team members - ownership to the team deliverable and pro-actively support other team members in delivering the committed backlog

    • Competences
     

  • You have 5+ years of experience as a Software Test Engineer or a similar role
  • You have experience with Software Test Automation tools and CI/CD pipelines
  • You have a strong interest in motion control, automation or robotics.
  • Your experience with agile software development is a plus
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • You are pro-active, self-motivated and take initiative within the team
  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Professional proficiency in English
