For our Global Ecostruxure IT Service, we are looking for a Service Engineer DCIM (M/W) who works in our office in Uccle, Brussels, for the region of Belgium, the Netherlands and France. Your meaningful purpose? As Regional DCIM Specialist, you will successfully manage projects, perform deployment and configuration of EcoStruxure IT software suite (system integration, Customer & Admin training and WO management). You will be part of an international team for who service mindset and customer experience are key. You will work in close collaboration with the regional delivery manager/project manager. Finally, you will perform onsite configuration, technical support and training, and also be able ability to support via remotely. Daily task and responsibilities will include To ensure safe working and follow local guidelines To assign & coordinate the WO´s (assure preparations are done before starting, dialog with customer along the way) To install & configure EcoStruxure IT software’s The configuration support in Schneider Network Management Cards To perform onsite and remote troubleshooting of EcoStruxure IT Softwares and basic network protocols like SNMP, Modbus RTU & Modbus TCP To develop and enhance project documentation work to enrich customer’s experience To support & use cross-border collaboration to maximize customer satisfaction To srticulate to an internal and client project team the necessary steps/pre-requisite required to complete a statement of work The building out and documenting of project tasks and to participate in the technical review process for product enhancements The ability to identify DCIM problem statement(s), solution proposal, and scope of work with a defined project plan The time estimation for nonstandard work To perform post configuration review and Deliver Admin training to partners and end users To liaise with EcoSTruxure IT Global Product Managers or Advanced Custom Solutions team to provide feedback from customer requirements and improvements. To lead generation in services and licenses To olloborate with regional sales and provide possible solution around customer needs and deliver services. The basic Linux Administration Hyperconverged Infrastructure solutions – Dell VxRail, Nutanix AHV and ESXi, HPE SimpliVity, Cisco HyperFlex Basic familiarity with PKI and SSL certificates Who will you report to? Has relevant Experience: 3 years in providing DCIM customer support for complex technical solutions in a Data Centre environment (Data centre surveys and audits), Salesforce and WO management. Has a Bachelor degree in a technical discipline Digital Savvy: with basic technical knowledge of Data centre IT components and interconnections (servers, Blades/Blade Chassis, network switches, RACK PDUs, etc.) Data centre networks and protocols (TCP/IP, VLANs, SNMP, Modbus) Structured cabling components and concepts (patch panels, fibre, copper) Data centre facilities components (UPS, PDUs, single and 3 Phase Power, CCU) VMware vSphere ESX/ESXi VM configuration PCNS configuration Interpersonal skills: you have experience in Customer-facing, project management, analysis, troubleshooting technical skills. Organizational skills: you take responsibility and can adapt/multi-task/manage changing priorities. Flexibility: you are willing to work flexible hours and travel up to 50% of the time.
