Senior Test Engineer

Division: Group Digital Capabilities (GDC)

Job Summary: 

As a Test analyst:

  • You will be responsible for assessing software quality through manual and automated testing
  • You will be involved in the planning and execution of testing strategies to ensure software applications need design specifications and functions correctly across various applications

    • Key Responsibilities: 

    Test Planning and Design: Collaborate with squad team members to understand software requirements, develop detailed test plans and test cases. Identify and prepare the test data. 

    Test Execution and Reporting:

  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results 
  • Report bugs and errors to the development teams 
  • Conduct Pre and Post release testing
  • Work with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle

    • Automated Testing: 

  • Develop and execute automation scripts using open source tools (like Selenium) 
  • Integrate automated testing into the build process

    • Quality Assurance: 

  • Ensure that all aspects of software quality are considered including functionality, performance, security, and usability
  • Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience
  • Document test execution and defects logs
  • Prepare proper evidence of test execution
  • Support Tribe test Engineer for report preparation

    • Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or related fields 
  • Proven experience as a test analyst or similar role
  • Knowledge of various QA tools (like Azure devops, Jira and methodologies
  • Familiarity with automated testing tools 
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills 
  • Ability to work in fast paced, team oriented environment
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
