Regional Health Economics Associate Director

Main Activities

The incumbent will join the Value & Implementation Outcomes Research (OR) regional team and will work across 4 regions : Asia Pacific (AP), Latin America (LATAM), Mid Europe (MER) & Eastern Europe, Middle East, Africa (EEMEA). Under the guidance of the EEMEA Outcomes research Executive Director, the incumbent will have the responsibility of the execution of Regional Health Economics Model Adaptation aligned with Value & Implementation strategies and Local Market Access priorities.

The scope of work will include the coordination and execution of all Cost effectiveness or Budget Impact Model adaptations requested by one of the Regional Outcomes Research Markets to ensure Patient Access and where an external vendor is involved. The incumbent will be responsible for all company’s therapeutical areas.

The work will start with a scientific strategic alignment between different functions across the organization until finalization of Health Economics Model deliverables for external submission and dissemination. In addition, The Regional Health Economic Associate Director will develop some guidance in alignment with global Health Economics leads and global Outcomes Research leads to consistently improve our Ways of Working to be more efficient in all the phases of Health Economics Model Adaptations.

An understanding of Health Economics Model Health Authorities Requirements across the four regions and an alignment on the global strategy and the country needs will be essential. A close collaboration with global/ regional teams and local markets including different functions, such as : Regional and Local Market Access, Regional Outcomes Research leads, global Health Economics lead and global Outcomes Research lead, is required to ensure consistency and alignment with strategies.

Position Qualifications

Education Minimum Requirement

  • A professional degree and an advanced degree at the master’s level from a school of medicine, public health, management, pharmacy, economics or equivalent work experience in health economics.

Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Health Economics Models in a Pharma company or in an external vendor ;
  • Experience submitting Health Economics models to HTA, Decision Makers in Markets in the covered regions ;
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills ;
  • Fluent English.
