R&D Engineer

Due to our continuous growth, we are further strengthening our R&D Engineering team, and hiring an R&D Engineer. This role is especially focused on development and testing of Energy storage products, and based in Jumet, Belgium.

Your responsibilities :

  • You will help to develop the next generation Power Electronics and energy storage systems focusing on the testing and design improvements.
  • Work with a global R&D team ensuring knowledge sharing, and timely and high-quality deliverables.
  • Support the project teams in the installation and execution of tests, measurements and characterizations.
  • Build experimental set-ups conduct tests, and analyze test results, possibly including physical modelling.
  • Plan laboratory activities for the consecution of the team and projects goals, as per the guidelines of the company.

    • Your background:

  • BSc or MSc Electrical/Electronics/Electrotechnical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Ideally minimum 5 Years of working experience in electrical or mechanical fields.
  • Sound analytical skills and experience with planning, conducting and analysis of experiments.
  • Experience in, or ability to develop, project management and planning skills.
  • Expertise in testing of power electronic converters and systems.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken and French would be an advantage.
