    About the role:

    We are changing the way people send money. We’re building digital services that allow people to send and receive money easily. Most of our customers are hard-working migrants in Africa, Asia and Latin America. We’re always seeking to better serve our customers and find ways to improve our product – this role is to help us deliver important new features and innovation in a highly efficient and fast-paced way.

    What you will own:

    Reporting to VP of Experience, Product, you will:

  • Drive product strategy and execution to increase conversion and engagement with the WoldRemit app
  • Lead the cross-functional domain efforts to drive activation, adoption, and loyalty for the WorldRemit brand
  • Lead a team of 2-3 Product Managers Ensure that product vision, roadmap, and features are aligned with Zepz mission and overall business strategy
  • Advocate for the customer, collaborating with other functions in and outside of the product and engineering organisation to develop, prioritize and launch product initiatives that improve the customer experience
  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch.
  • Identify trends and opportunities to enhance the product by building end-to-end understanding of core customer remittance needs, and the competitive and industry landscape that WorldRemit plays in.
  • Leverage data to make and influence product decisions on priority and tradeoffs.Drive hypothesis and data-driven experimentation to improve conversion through activation and repeat transfer funnels in the app.
  • Deliver user experiences that are engaging and intuitive
  • Monitor domain and product performance as well as user feedback to ensure the product meets customer needs
  • Improve product ways of working around product backlog management, prioritization, definition, planning and delivery
  • Foster a strong team culture aligned with the ZEPZ commitments.
  • What you bring to the table: 

  • 10+ years of progressive leadership in product managementExperience in managing a product management team Bachelor’s degree preferred, MBA a plus but not required
  • Experience managing consumer-facing mobile app products and experiences in a scrum Agile environment
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable improvements in-app or web funnel conversion
  • Practical knowledge of activation, engagement, and retention strategies
  • Strong understanding of data, fluent with defining and tracking product metrics of success, as well as tying product metrics of success to company KPI’s
  • Proven track record of driving hypotheses and data-driven experimentation (A/B testing)
  • Great attention to detail, able to juggle multiple projects and priorities at a time
  • Hands-on, self-starter, willing to roll up your sleeves to drive initiatives with little oversightEffective communicator and collaborator, able to navigate complex relationships to get the job done
  • Bonus points if you:

  • Have direct experience in delivering and optimizing Loyalty programs that drove measurable results in adoption and retention
  • Have direct experience in fin-tech industry, especially payments and remittance Have experience in driving improved standards for Agile ways of working i.e. backlog management, grooming, refinement, sprint reviews etc.
