Mechanical Design Engineer

Together with Vision Engineers you do complex mechanical design for our new vision modules. Combining short term small projects with long
term strategic projects is the nature of our business.
You transform the rough ideas from your colleagues into a mechanical design which you follow its full lifetime:
• Organize design reviews
• Price estimations
• Building the prototype
• Completing product documentation
• Transfer to Operations to enable mass production
In the design we need to have eye for cost efficiency, serviceability and manufacturability. To decrease time to market we explore new
manufacturing techniques like 3D printing.
If want to design exciting high-tech from a white paper to fully functional in the market, this is your job!

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechanics or Electro-Mechanics.
• Experience with 3D CAD software, preferably SolidWorks, and PMD systems.
• Care about customer problems and happy to provide a fully operational solution.
• Able to balance short term targets with strategic challenges.
• Experience with optical design is a plus.
• Knowledge about 3D printing is also a benefit.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree or work experience of 2 years , Bachelor's Level Degree or work experience of 4 years
