The Role
Join the Supply Chain management team of Euroclear SA, the Group Holding Company which is also a shared Service Centre! You will be part of the Supply Chain Department in the Finance Division.
The Supply Chain Department is responsible amongst others to:
define Category Strategy and Plan, source and procure along the policy and procedures for the Euroclear Group with one team focusing on IT and the other on categories mentioned below.
ensure compliance of the supply chain with regulations and risk related policies & procedures.
In this role you will be responsible for achieving the Supply Chain mission by setting adequate objectives for the team and leading the team to contribute to achieve the mission & objectives for the Procurement Team leading following categories of indirect purchasing, such as:
Facilities,
HR-related events,
Contracted and professional services and
Data Vendors.
The more operational aspects of renewals, Pos and reconciliation is done in another accounting team with whom you’ll collaborate daily.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of Category Managers in the areas of Facilities, HR-related events, contracted and professional services and in Data Vendors
Team Leadership: Encourage and empower a team of 8 team members, provide direction and setting clear expectations.
Define their individual objectives in line with corporate and business units, divisional and departmental strategy& objectives, manage their performance, development, and mentor the team.
Build a high performing professional supply chain Team and contribute to the Department’s Management as well as act as Ambassador of Supply Chain towards the rest of the organization
Ensure your team adopt best practices of procurement in an uniform manner, of data, processes, risks and controls quality.
Assist your team in identifying and resolving issues they may face as well as using creativity to optimize some of the categories which require step back and improvements.
Lead specific projects which would seek at improving content such as procurement practices, optimisation wherever possible, cost savings opportunities, help in change management and embedding or craft specific strategies.
Profile requirements
15+ years of experience in procurement activities for Facilities, HR-related events, contracted and professional services and in Data- Vendors, in financial organisations or other regulated organisations.
Motivation: Ability to encourage and engage your teams on our mission and strategy and help them understand how their work fits our purpose
Team Management: Confirmed experience in optimally managing and leading teams.
You are capable to step back, elaborate a diagnostic as well as a strategy for improvements
Category management in terms of efficiency and costs savings
You can handle confidential information. Compliance, risks management aspects and ethics are key to you.
You have excellent relationship management and negotiation skills
You have a high level of autonomy, ownership and you can act as a trusted advisor in your area of expertise.
Your written and oral English skills are proficient.
