What You'll Do:
Month-End Closing: Assist in the month-end closing process using our main ERP system, SAP.
Reporting: Ensure timely and accurate financial and operational reporting aligned with the divisional calendar. Collaborate with plant management to provide insightful reporting, fostering a deeper understanding of business performance. Initiate projects to automate and streamline reporting processes.
Manage Indirect Plant Costs & Overheads: Handle periodic accruals, cost allocation, and provide support for forecasting.
Inventory: Ensure compliance with internal controls and coordinate inventory counting activities.
Periodic Standard Cost Price Updates: Support plant BP finance in completing periodic standard cost calculations and perform ad hoc cost price calculations throughout the year.
Master Data: Calculate costs for new articles, manage technical parameters in the ERP system (BOMs, routings, scrap levels).
What You'll Bring:
Master's degree in economics, finance, or business/industrial engineering.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in plant controlling.
Strong financial acumen with demonstrated analytical ability, knowledge of corporate finance, and manufacturing costing principles.
Proficient in Dutch and English.
Knowledge of SAP, Analysis for Office, or other BI tools is highly appreciated.
Pragmatic, result-driven, analytical, accurate, and self-critical approach.
Strong communication and presentation skills to convey financial status to management.
Business acumen and intuition for proactive partnership with stakeholders.
Ability to learn quickly and adapt.
Team player with a constructive and positive approach in a multicultural environment.
The main place of employment will be at the Eternit NV plant in Kapelle-op-den-Bos, Belgium, with travelling to the site in Goor (NL) on regular basis (around 20% of time per month).
