About the role

As a VeroTech consultant, you will work in a team of more than 20 controls engineers developing **control software for hybrid dual-clutch transmission systems** . The software follows a **Model-Based Development V-cycle** using **Simulink**, with focus areas such as driving strategy, coordination, clutch and gear actuation, diagnostics and functional safety.
You will contribute across the full development flow, from requirements alignment to design, implementation, simulation verification and validation support. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary stakeholders in **systems engineering, validation, embedded software, testing and simulation**.
Key responsibilities
- -------------------
* Define **software requirements** for assigned functions in alignment with customer expectations
* Design **control strategies** for transmission application software modules
* Implement control functions in **Simulink** within a Model-Based Development process
* Verify software functions in a **MiL simulation environment**
* Support validation activities on **HiL platforms, test benches and vehicles**
* Contribute to functions such as **driving strategy, actuation, diagnostics and functional safety**
* Collaborate with internal engineering teams to help realise **new powertrain technologies**
