About the role
- -------------

As a consultant in our prototype lab, you help build and test new machines, components and concepts in a dynamic electromechanical environment. You design **test setups** and **test programs** with the project team, manage the setups safely and guide laboratory technicians in preparing prototypes and test runs.

You also organize the planning of lab and test activities, measure and analyse prototype performance, and share results with colleagues so the team can refine solutions together. During testing, you keep a close eye on all parameters, verify them and step in when needed to keep the process reliable and controlled.

Key responsibilities

* Plan assembly tasks for fitters and organize lab and test activities

* Support the assembly of**prototypes** in the laboratory

* Program **test conditions** for prototypes in the proprietary environment

* Design and implement **test setups** with the project team and keep them safe

* Guide laboratory technicians in preparing prototypes and test runs

* Manage **sensors** , monitor parameters and run **automated tests**

* Measure and analyse **prototype performance** and share results with the team

What we're looking for
- ---------------------

We are looking for a hands-on engineer who combines technical curiosity with a structured approach and is comfortable working in a prototype testing environment.

* Hold a **Master's degree in Electromechanics** or bring relevant work experience

* Have an **excellent command of English**

* Show an open attitude toward **learning and experimentation**

* Think outside the box and bring **creativity** to problem-solving

* Work **independently**, efficiently and with adaptability

* Have **previous testing experience**, which is beneficial

* Understand **electrical and mechanical systems** as well as **pressure systems** concepts

* Have an **excellent command of English**

* **Dutch is a strong plus**

* Be comfortable with **hybrid work**, with on-site presence needed for physical testing and equipment checks
