Test analyst

Division: Group Business Solutions (GBS)

We are looking for a motivated Test Analyst to join the GBS Asset Servicing, Tax, and Reference Data Tribe to conduct the Integration Testing of business requirements, functional, non-functional and technical. You will be joining an enthusiastic Integration Testing squad consisting of diverse people in different locations (Belgium, France, Poland and India) and all working towards the same goals and sharing the same values, including a passion for sharing good food!

Your main tasks

  • Participate in Feature refinements to ensure testability of requirements
  • Define the test strategy for Features
  • Prepare the Feature test planning
  • Define the requirements for the test environment
  • Work out the test requirements and test cases
  • Test Preparation following the methodology of the group (mainly Agile)
  • Execute and/or supervise the testing activities
  • Defect management including accurate assignment and priority setting
  • Report the test progress to main partners
  • Solve or escalate test impediments to the Feature delivery owner
  • Write up Test Summary Report
  • Suggest, lead and participate in Retrospectives and other continuous improvement initiatives
  • Be an active member of the testing community within Euroclear

    • You have

  • At least 2 years of working experience with IT Testing (or practicing testing activities)
  • Business or technical knowledge in the Asset Servicing domain (Corporate Action processing, Swift messaging, TCS BANCS package)
  • Good analytical mind-set with the ability to extract relevant information from documentation, system data, clients and colleagues and analyse the gathered information.
  • An experience working in Agile is a clear asset
  • Experience working with tools such as TFS, ServiceNow, ALM or similar
  • Knowledgeable about non-functional testing and automation

  • You are fluent in English (both written and oral)
  • You can communicate optimally with colleagues and management
  • Able to learn quickly in a complex environment and to easily adapt to new circumstances / technologies / procedures
  • Stress resistant and good interpersonal skills
