Senior XenApp/XenDesktop Engineer

The role:

We are looking for a Senior Citrix ADC/Netscaler Engineer. You will be working with a variety of technologies, such as Citrix ADC, Citrix XenApp, Terminal server, virtual workstations, SCCM, Ansible Tower, App-V, M365 and more. In addition, you will provide third-line support to end-users and the onsite support teams across all entities.

You will work closely with the projects teams, Security architects and Operations Control Center colleagues globally to deliver solutions to support projects and operational service improvement.

Operating within the IT Service Management (ITSM) Framework, day to day tasks will be driven by the Citrix team responsible for the implementation of project initiatives across the global environment, servicing Euroclear entities globally.

Responsibilities:

  • Design solutions for secure application delivery.
  • Install, Configure and Manage these solutions using Citrix ADC technology.
  • Maintain and monitor Netscaler solutions and devices.
  • Manage and supervise Xenapp infrastructure components.
  • Handle incidents, requests and problems (3rd line support) based on ITIL framework.
  • Identify areas for improvement and assist in team projects.
  • Deploy applications, debug and tackle related problems on XenApp.
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in designing, implementing and supporting Netscaler solutions.
  • Proven experience in supporting a Windows multi-user environment, including desktop and application virtualisation..
  • Good knowledge of IT Security Principals and IT Service Management
  • Proven Experience with VirtualApps 1912 or higher, StoreFront and Server 2019 or higher are desirable.
