Senior Logistics Engineer, WMS Applications

About the role

Your role revolves around optimising Warehouse Management System (WMS) applications. This includes implementing new locations and customers, organising customer workshops for needs analysis, technical configuration and testing of the applications, guiding end-users in acceptance testing, and providing training and specifying Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages to ensure smooth integration and efficient logistics operations.

Tasks:

Perform effective implementation and optimisation;

Contribute in configuring and testing WMS applications to ensure they work properly and meet specifications;

Support end-users in the acceptance testing process;

Specify Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages and work effectively with the global IT team to coordinate necessary developments for continuous improvements in logistics processes.

Are you the perfect fit?

You have a bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics Management, Economics or IT;

You have a demonstrable experience in implementing and configuring WMS applications, especially with Blue Yonder Dispatcher;

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

Ability to lead workshops and effectively gather business requirements from customers;

Experience in guiding end-users in UAT testing, and proficiency in specifying Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) messages.
