TrendMiner, a Software AG company, develops discovery, diagnostic & predictive analytics solutions for industry. Our cross-functional agile development team is developing the next generation data mining product for the process industry. As a Senior Integration Developer in the Connectivity Team, you will be working on challenging and core parts of our platform. You will need development experience with data analytical products and have the ambition to learn new innovative topics.

Essential functions

• You will be part of a fun agile team to grow and build our platform.

• Work with the team and leverage your knowledge to inspire and grow others.

• Assist in evolving and maintaining technical ways of working and best practices.

• Work with the product owner and team architect to define and elaborate technical designs.

• Assist in evolving our platform architecture together with the team architect.

Minimum requirements

• More than 5 years of proven experience building micro services platforms.

• Solid experience using Java and Spring Boot

• Experience developing interfaces and connectors.

• Experience with timeseries and analytics is considered an asset.

• Applied knowledge of software engineering best practices (TDD, DDD, SOLID, etc.)

• Eager to learn new skills & explore new technologies, and share knowledge within the team.

• Passionate about software development, innovation, and creative thinking

• Team player both in attitude and in terms of achieving results.

• Fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is a plus.

• Experience with other technologies in our product portfolio is an advantage, in particular: Kubernetes, Angular, Python, Streaming & Event-driven stacks.

• Have a wide and/or deep technical/specialized knowledge and experience in your own discipline.

• Be able to understand internal/external business and product requirements and use design best practices to improve technical/specialized products/services.

• Analyze complex technical/specialized challenges independently to propose structural solutions that fit the architectural strategy.

• Be a valuable resource for colleagues with less experience.

• Contribute influentially to development projects and manage functional projects.

• Pro-actively raise awareness of risks and issues for topics you own, so that priorities, planning and expectations can be managed to fit reality.
