Senior Financial Analyst.

As a member of the Global Regions Financial Planning &Analysis (FP&A) Central team, this position provides finance analytical support to the Global Regions Leadership Team (GRLT) and Global Regions Finance Leadership Team (GRFLT).

You will play an essential role in FP&A processes improvements and solutions standardization, working closely with the FP&A Centers of Excellence and FP&A teams across the regions. Together with the Global Regions FP&A Sr Manager and Central FP&A team, you will provide data-driven insights to identify risks and opportunities and to support Pan Medtronic business decisions and execution to meet quarterly and yearly Profit and Loss (P&L) and Free Cash Flow (FCF) targets.

A Day in the Life
• Develop and maintain financial reports and modeling tools to support:
- Long- & Short-term Plans and forecasts (5Y Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Rolling Forecast and Quarterly Estimates),
- Key operational and strategic decisions.
• Generate “what if” / scenario analyses to identify P&L and FCF opportunities & risks, and to support definition of corrective actions.
• Maintain open communication and strong collaboration with FP&A and CoE teams.

Must Haves
• University degree in finance, business, or accounting
• Minimum of 3-4 years of professional finance experience
• High level of integrity and accountability
• Advanced MS Excel and knowledge of financial planning and reporting systems (Hyperion, Business Intelligence, Power BI etc.)
• Fluent in both written and spoken English
• Proactive/ action oriented: proactive, act with a sense of urgency
• Able to operate independently, as part of a virtual team, with limited supervision
• Willing to take a hands-on approach with high learning agility
• Relate to others – build strong trusting relationships that foster success
• Resilient at managing yourself and thrive in a dynamic business environment
• Strong organization skills, able to prioritize multiple tasks, handle changing priorities and effectively manage time while maintaining high quality standards
• Willingness to Travel ~10%

Nice to Haves
• Master’s / MBA degree / CPA / CIMA / ACCA a definite plus
• Financial Planning & Analysis experience preferred
• Experience in Financial Modelling and Scenario Planning a definite plus
• Experience working in a multicultural, diverse environment; multinational matrix organization or large audit firm is preferred
• Communication - Able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with a variety of stakeholders at various levels in the organization and in multiple locations
