What you will be doing
As a Senior Consultant, your role will include but is not limited to:
Taking a leadership role in digital policy-oriented projects for the European Union, including engagements with the European Commission, European Parliament, and related agencies.
Crafting and submitting project proposals while leading their implementation.
Overseeing and actively contributing to project management and execution.
Developing research methodologies, designing projects, and crafting comprehensive proposals and reports.
Contributing to Ecorys' communication and outreach initiatives, including delivering presentations at conferences and workshops.
Cultivating and expanding a network of experts and partners, collaborating closely with colleagues across Ecorys.
What we will need from you
Essential
A university degree in economics, business, political science, or related social sciences.
A proven track record of at least 8 years in policy-related work focusing on digital skills, digital transformation, connectivity, online platforms, ecommerce, digital public services, green digital sector, media and digital culture, next generation internet, online privacy, online safety, cybersecurity or any related topic.
Exceptional proficiency in written and spoken English.
Strong analytical and data manipulation skills.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering high-quality reports and project outputs.
Effective management skills with a knack for training and developing junior staff.
Financial acumen coupled with a client-focused approach.
Desirable
Possession of a Master's and/or Ph.D. in a field related to one of the aforementioned policy areas.
Sound knowledge and comprehension of the operations of EU institutions and key EU policies.
Demonstrated experience in the preparation and successful acquisition of EU proposals, along with hands-on experience in EU project management .
