Your role

As a member of the core components team at Industrial Air Engineering, your main role is collaborating on developing and implementing innovative designs and technologies for next-gen compressors. This includes focusing on critical mechanical parts like the drivetrain, control valves, and other electro-mechanical components.

Specializing in drivetrain as a project engineer, you'll work across departments and divisions to maximize the potential of new components. This involves maintaining external contacts for co-engineering with international suppliers and research facilities.

Your responsibilities include new product development, innovation, and providing divisional support for electro-mechanical core components. You'll contribute to transforming the product lineup into a modular portfolio, ensuring technological leverage for bringing innovative ideas to market effectively. Additionally, you'll manage and support projects within the core components team, evaluating new ideas and leading technical meetings with stakeholders. Ensuring effective knowledge transfer and providing technical support to design centers are also vital aspects of your role.

Adhering to modular design principles is essential, along with analyzing patents and collaborating with the patent team. Ultimately, you report to the team leader, playing a significant role in advancing engineering efforts at Industrial Air.

• Master's degree in Civil or Industrial (electro-) Mechanical engineering.

• You are fluent in English.

• You preferably already have had a first experience in (electro-) mechanical design.

• Good computer skills, familiar with MS Office packages like PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and other O applications. You are able familiar with regular CAD systems.

• You are familiar with modelling or working with digital calculation or simulation tools like Matlab or equivalent.
