Procurement Manager

The procurement manager supervises procurement activities and teams (internal and/or external). He/she draws up the procurement plan and ensures its optimal deployment in terms of quality, costs, deadlines, safety and the environment.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • You are the first point of contact for our managers of the various departments for all matters related to the procurement procedures or projects, from drawing the plan to the operations supervision.
  • Drives the implementation and improvement of processes and tools within its scope.
  • You participate in the purchase projects with your manager.
  • You analyze sourcing markets and develop market expertise. You participate in the sourcing strategies to increase the innovation pipeline and drive cost savings. 
  • You are responsible for the fleet of the national companies: follow up and optimization of the fleet.
  • You lead the team of 2 Purchase Coordinators, 3 storekeepers and report to the Head of Purchase & Logistics Belux.

    • Profil

    We are looking for someone with:

  • You have a Master or bachelor degree and ideally can present 5 years of experience within a Procurement/Supply Chain department.
  • You have a first experience in people management and in coaching a team.
  • You are fluent in English, Dutch or French, both oral and written.
  • You have strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • You have a proactive, driven and result-oriented attitude.
