Middleware Engineer – Brussels – EU Public Organisations

The role of the person will be to manage the deployment of the new releases of the gateways at stakeholder premises (so a good communication is important) and to participate to level2 support (24/7).

The following skills are required for this position:

Mandatory

• Have a good level of the English language meaning fluent in reading, writing, and speaking

• Quality minded.

• Knowledge of communication protocols: http/https, TCP/IP/CORBA

• Python

• Javascripting

• Oracle & Database programming skills(SQL)

• Experience with UNIX or LINUX including knowledge of a scripting language (e.g. Zshell, perl,..)

• system administration of Oracle (BEA) WebLogic on LINUX or UNIX

• System administration of IBM Tivoli products for Identity management & Access management

• Experience with capacity and performance analysis and reporting

• Experience with configuration management tools

• JAVA programming & experience with open source tools based on JAVA technology

• Experience in web services client and server applications development both in REST and SOAP

• Ability to work on complex systems

• Very good algorithmic thinking skills

• Very good analytical and problem solving skills

• Ability to work on complex systems

Nice to have

• Experience in application servers such as Weblogic or Tomcat
