To strengthen our Financial Planning & Analysis Team, based in Limelette, Belgium , we are looking for a talented individual to fill the Junior Finance Analyst (VIE) position .

About the role

As a Junior Finance Analyst (VIE) , you will report to our HQ & IT Finance Controller and be part of the Group Financial Planning & Analysis. You will contribute to the FP&A team through preparation, analysis, reporting, problem-solving, and cost area management for Lhoist HQ overheads and Group IT.

Your role and responsibilities:

Provide support to the HQ and IT Controller by reinforcing and strengthening the detailed analysis of the Group Overheads and IT costs.

Support the preparation of monthly closing reports for management.

Assist with financial planning processes, including budgeting and forecasting for HQ and Group IT.

Work closely with the IT department to ensure quality data in the IT cost model.

About you:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economic or a related field.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Proficiency in financial modeling and tools.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Good knowledge of Excel (pivot, formula, etc.) and Powerpoint.

English is a must, French is a plus.
