Sword Technologies is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Solution Architect to support the National Bank of Belgium in designing, guiding and validating resilient infrastructure solutions across on-premises and hybrid environments.

The assignment requires broad infrastructure architecture expertise, combined with strong knowledge of database platforms, infrastructure modernisation, high availability and disaster recovery.

Responsibilities

* Design end-to-end infrastructure solutions covering on-premises platforms and hybrid cloud integrations.

* Define and validate scalable, secure and resilient infrastructure architectures.

* Provide architectural guidance on logical and physical database design, application database migrations and database maintenance.

* Design and assess high availability solutions and disaster recovery plans.

* Address enterprise storage, backup, restoration and data protection requirements.

* Design and guide the implementation of hyperconverged infrastructure.

* Produce clear architecture documentation, diagrams and technical recommendations.

* Work closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to maintain architectural consistency throughout delivery.

* Proactively report progress, risks and dependencies.
