IT Center EMEA is the headquarter for IT solutions within the Daikin group including all subsidiary companies in the EMEA-region. The IT Center consists out of 3 departments: IT Planning, IT Development and IT Infrastructure.

As Compliance analyst you will work for the department of IT Planning, physically located in our offices in Oostkamp (Belgium).
This department is responsible on one hand to breakdown the business strategy into concrete projects in collaboration with the business. And on the other hand to identify IT risks, to mitigate the risks to ensure compliance and to constantly monitor staying compliant with company regulations.

Function

• We are looking for a Compliance analyst focusing on the IT compliance of applications used in all business areas. Concrete areas to ensure compliancy are J-Sox and GDPR. But as cloud applications and data security are becoming more and more important, the need for compliance in these areas is becoming higher. As compliance analyst, you plan and coordinate the activities necessary to guarantee compliance with policies and regulations for all IT systems. 

After an introduction and training period, your main challenges will be:

• You ensure that policies and procedures are well documented and complied with. You identify compliance problems that call for formal attention. You also develop risk management strategies to prevent non-compliance and avoid fraud. 
• You will be the IT contact person for IT compliance and security audits to ensure compliance to our legal and company rules such as Sox, Security policies and ISO. 
• You will assist the company in staying compliant with the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation. For doing this, a data protection coordination team has been established where you will be part of.
• You will follow the latest technology in Security, Risk & Controls solutions, to be able to design and implement IT General Controls for all IT Applications. Knowledge of SAP Solutions is a plus as SAP Solutions are a major part of our IT application landscape.

Profile

• You have a master degree (as Engineer, Computer scientist, Economist or equal).
• You work accurately with an eye for details but you are also able to communicate clearly on high level.
• You are critical, can listen and explain compliance requirements in a pragmatic way.
• Experience as auditor, as key-user or as analyst in similar IT surroundings is an advantage but not a must.
• You have analytic and communicative skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
