Infrastructure Project Manager

Responsibilities
As Project Manager, your job is situated in the Enterprise Business Unit (EBU), which is in charge of the whole professional market, addressing large companies as well as small and medium sized enterprises. Within the PSM Unit (Customer Project and Service Management), you will be responsible for managing and coordinating complex client projects, including some international projects for which you might need to align with foreign Proximus affiliates and / or partners.
Your clients will belong to the Proximus One, Vertical ou Area segments. Project budgets can range from € to € 2,5 million. Your client contacts are to be situated mostly at the level of Customer Project Manager and ICT-director.
The projects you will be working on, have a strategic character, are tailor-made, rely on new as well as on existing IT technologies / subjects, and have a medium to high risk level and visibility. Business complexity of each of these projects is high (eg. Large interdependency with other products / processes / services at the clients’ side).
Your role & responsibilities:
• You lead a project team of 5 – 25 members, composed of technicians, consultants and specialists and assume transversal contacts with Account-, Customer Success Managers, Services Architects, and Pre-Sales Managers.
•. You are in direct contact (face to face) with your client, with whom you will be working closely together.
• You develop, respect and implement detailed and complex project implementation plans and manage the related budgets.
• You are capable – in short term – to understand the Proximus’ organization, to gain insight in the Proximus’ business models and in the vision behind the different projects.
• You identify, manage, minimize and anticipate potential risks throughout the entire project realization process and you report the impact of issues and changes to the project steering committee. Being able to think out of the box will hereby be an asset.
• During the entire realization phase, you act as main point of contact for the client as well as for the subcontractors.
• You centralize all relevant information and report on the progress of the project, to both your client and your management.
• You guarantee the quality of the "deliverables" and make sure that the project planning is respected.
• You are responsible for the financial results of the project: you make and report regularly the financial plannings. You anticipate any deviation by taking the adequate actions.
• You can be led to offer support your Sales colleagues when in strategic discussions with the client, by explaining how you will lead the project, once sold.
